Daddy Daughter Date
One of Hannah's favorite events of the year is the Daddy-Daughter Dance with church. She suggested Scott get a purple tie to match her dress. He went above and beyond and got a pink shirt as well!

More Winter Fun
On President's Day, Cornerstone families were able to ice skate for free for an hour at a nearby rink. As far as I know, all the kids have only skated one other time. Micah and Hannah both caught on quickly. Hannah had a lot of fun taking turns pushing her friends. Micah enjoyed seeing some of his old friends, but sadly ended with a bump to the head. Matthew fell a lot, but was determined to keep going without holding on.
This past weekend the weather cooperated for the older kids and I to go skiing. It was fantastic! The sun was shining! Hannah did great! She has a pretty wide snowplow, but she can turn and stop! She got to ride the chair lift, and even did a blue hill!
Micah's birthday
Micah did not have school on the day of his birthday, so we took a family trip to Peek n'Peak ski resort in New York. (Hannah played hooky from school.) Hannah and Matthew did ski school in the morning while Micah got time with just Scott and I. After a snack break, we all went back out to see what the younger two had learned. Hannah was really catching on and could make it down the bunny hill without falling (just don't ask her to stop!). Matthew didn't quite have his balance yet, but he did a few long stretches between crashes.
Another fun family day success!
Micah loves doing small jumps and wants to learn how to do more.
The next day we took Micah's two best buddies Carter and Owen out for pizza and bowling.
