Last weekend I flew to Boston for Suite Retreat! We stayed in a cute little house in Scituate. It had beautiful views of the water and was literally next door to a lighthouse! (The house itself could have used a touch more TLC, but the good outweighed the bad.) As per usual, we talked nonstop, ate yummy food, laughed, and cried together. It's amazing to me that even though we only have minimal contact throughout the year, we still have wonderful intimate friendships.

| We had to bundle up, but we got to enjoy some lovely walks. |

Meanwhile, back in Ohio, Hannah had her first school dance! She got ready with her friend Gianna, then met up with the rest of her posse to take pictures before heading over to the school.

| We did go dress shopping together, but she ended up wearing one of Ally's old dresses. |
She has a great group of friends!
Scott was not bored while I was gone. Matthew had a basketball tournament. Scott's opinion is a little biased, but he thought Matthew played really well. One of the games was pretty close, and Matthew made an important bucket toward the end of the game. And in another game, he got his first ever three-pointer! Scott also ended up watching Baby K all afternoon on Saturday. He coordinated rides for Matthew when one of his games conflicted with teaching at church. He took care of food and laundry and cleaning and school lunches and carpools. Oh, and it was also his birthday.
